The Spot does Vintage!

This was a a huge challenge for me. I love the look and enjoy the style, but I just don't do it that well. I think this was the most time I've spent on a LO in two years now. These are pics of my husband's great grandmother (center) and his grandmother and her oldest sister (bottom left. I had the perfect pics for this and I've been trying to figure out how I wanted to scrap them, but this challenge gave me all the inspiration I needed. I spent a lot of time distress this LO. Used my scissors and a lot of Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distressing ink (that I misted the paper with H2O after inking to create the yellowing spots). I also hand made all the flowers using my ribbon flower tutorial that I have posted. I just kind of threw on the string on pearls and played with it till I found something that was pleasing to my eyes. Ok here's my LO:

IF you have any questions, let me know-- I'd be happy to tell you what I did! And make sure you stop by The Cuttlebug Spot and show us your vintage projects. Our very own DT sister is offering up jammies for your Bug and cricut that she sews for this weeks winner!

Thanks for stopping in !
