Practical Scrappers "Scrapping Your Stash" March Blog Hop

Thanks for joining in the hop!  You should have arrived here from  Charity's Blog, if not head on back so you don't miss any of that creativity!

Where, oh where, has Kerri been?  On a 7 month hiatus from the blogging world!  But, I thought I'd join the ladies of Practical Scrappers for this month's scrapping our stash hop!  I can tell you right now, everything I own is considered stash right now.  I haven't bought any new papers and products since I took a break ( with the exception for the stuff I use for selling at craft fairs).

IT just so happens that I was asked to make a get well/thinking of you card for a fellow co-worker who just had surgery that all of our  staff and students at our little private school could sign.  Had a lot of fun with this card, and used up some scraps from two different Crate Paper lines ( DIY Shop and the Maggie Holmes Collection) to create this card.

I used a bunch of random things that I had in an old embellishment drawer of things I have no idea where I got.  I found the bling and flair button in there.  I also pulled out my favorite go to tool (my Cuttlebug) and used it  to cut and emboss my butterfly as well as give it a vellum overlay.

Here's an up close detail of the little cluster and and the embossing

I also  pulled out an old Fiskar's punch to do the edging and tied my multiple layers of insert pages off with some scrap red stretchy ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Now get ready to hop on over to ever-so-talented Cheryl Freet to continue on your way !
