Practical Scrappers Blog Hop--LOVE Is In the Air!

First off, I want to thank you for stopping by my blog during the Practical Scrappers Designer Blog Hop. Today I have created two projects that I'd like to share with you. I am giving away a new 8x8 Olive Green, Mrs. Grossmans album (that I took out of the packing and added an extra 10 page protectors-- 30 pages in all) and maybe some other RAK's that I need to purge from my suppy bins for a prize. Due to the weight and size of this item, I am only willing to ship to continental USA (so sorry international followers). In order to qualify you need do three things:
1.) Become a follower of Practical Scrappers (if you already are then step on checked!)
2.) Become a follower here on my blog.
3.) Leave a comment on this post telling me you did step 1 and 2 and tell me/show me what kind of Valentine's Day projects you are up to. I will announce the winner on Monday, January 25th so make sure to check back in!

You should have arrived here from Christine's blog. Your next stop is Kim's Blog- Memories in Thyme If this was your first stop head over to Practical Scrappers to start at the beginning of the hop. The designers are giving away some great prizes - you don't want to miss your chance!

Now without further ado, here are my projects for you. The first here is a LO of my middle son, Jaedon, who just turned 5 on Wed. with his "girlfriend" at her bithday party in December. They have a crush on each other, and they are too sweet when they are together. So in honor of our LOVE theme, here is my LO "First Love".

The next project here is the Valentine's Day treat for my oldest son's class. The instructions are here at Splitcoast Stampers for their matchbox card. The woman who made this tutorial did the project with a sqaure piece of candy. I altered it up a bit to fit my longer Hershey bar. Instead of making the length 7 3/8" I made mine 7 7/8" (score at 3 1/2", 3 3/4", 7 1/8"). This will then fit the length of a 3 1/4" candy bar. For the inside of the project, I kept the same measurements because it worked fine.

Thanks again for stopping by, now get hopping on to Kim's Blog!

Happy Scrappin'!

Kerri

Whoops, forgot to mention what I am working on....I am working on a layout using hearts, flowers & buttons, covering a paper machet heart with Valentine's paper and bling, and a square glass vase needs some red vinyl on it. I also will cut out some gift card holders for my son's preschool teachers for Valentine's Day (using my gypsy).
