This first challenge is for the Cuttlebug Spot weekly challenge. Challenge # 31 was to embossing something other than paper metal, vellum, plastic, etc....I always try to be very unique, and I like you use things that aren't suggested. What I did to it was cut a piece from the coffee filter 2.5"x 4". I ran it through my CB using the Textile Folder. I inked it with my red Studio g pigment ink. Then I folded it back in forth ( making like ancordian or a fan), tied it in the center with a piece of ribbon to make a "flower like" embellie. Them I just snipped the ends off with my "wave" scissors.

This LO was for a Challenge on Treasured Scrapbooking called "Pretty it up". Again, I used the coffee filter. This time I cut it using my Fiskars Threading Water Punch to go around the edges of the half circle of the coffee filter. I inked it with Tim Holtz's vintage photo distressing ink; then misted it with H2O and it gave it that cool blending effect and turned yellow in spots which was the feel I wanted since this is an older pic.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the challenges. Hopefully I won't be so neglectful to my blog in the upcoming weeks! I should have some more work later in the week as I do have two planned scrappy night both Wednesday and Friday with the ladies!! Have a great Day!
