BOO......part two!!

It's another "Boo" week at The Cuttlebug Spot except this time it's Halloween cards using the colors black, purple, and green-- they are my three fav!! So, I decided to do a shaped card this week. I love witchy hats and I've been seeing some really cute ones all done up. I decided to draw my own pattern for this one. I started with a piece of card stock that was 6 1/2" x 9". Scored it at 4 1/2". Then, I just drew my hat(making sure not to round it completely off at the fold so the card will still open). I ended with a hat that was 4 1/2" x 6" and it fits perfectly in an invitation envelope. I embossed the hat with my "Distressed Stripes" embossing folder and inked with some black Studio g black glitter pigment ink. For the tag, I used my nesties Label 4 to cut and emboss (note: I printed my wording on a larger piece of cardstock then cute it out with the nesties; the font is a free one I got from DAFONT). I then just cut a slit on each side of the black label and put a piece of black tuelle through and tied it.

Make sure you head on over to The Cuttlebug Spot to see what fabulous creations my DT sisters have in store for you. Thanks for stopping in!
